Sam

Sam is the newest member of our family. He was born January 29 and became an official member of the Shows family on Saturday, April 19th at te age of 12 weeks. Sam is a pure bred PUG. I “won” him at an auction at the Texas District 7 American Legion & Auxiliary Convention in Madisonville, Texas. As part of a fundraiser, an auction was held to raise money for the local American Legion & Auxiliary for community projects and troop support. One of the ladies in our local ALA #113 wanted to name him “District Seven”; another wanted to name him “Jack Daniels” because that was the box I brought him home in. Joshua named him “Sam” and it stuck.
